Our privacy promise

One page, plain English. This exists because benefits data is sensitive and trust is the entire product.

1. Your checker answers never leave your device

The 2-minute check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers (state, kids, cards, income range) are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are never uploaded, and we have no server that could receive them. Clear your browser data and they're gone.

2. The only thing we collect is your email — if you give it

If you subscribe to deadline alerts we store your email address (and, if you choose to tell us, your state and broad interests so we only send relevant deadlines). That's it. Ranges, never precise figures — we will never ask for your exact income, your Centrelink details, or any government login.

3. We will never sell or share your personal information

Not to advertisers, not to "partners", not to anyone. If we ever earn referral fees (e.g. an energy comparison link), it is only when you actively click, and it never involves handing over your data.

4. Delete means delete

Unsubscribe and your email is removed. Ask us to delete everything and we will, promptly.

5. We remind — we never act for you

Benefits Radar tells you a window is open and links to the official government page. We never lodge claims, never ask you to share myGov credentials, and never stand between you and the official source.
